Before the school year begins, workshops are conducted for staff members in which the vision and mission are communicated and discussed, revisited, and broken down to ensure that staff are all working towards the same goals.
Workshops include:
- School Culture: an analysis of the current school culture, contributing factors and an action plan to ensure improvement and to maintain a positive school culture.
- Implementing an Interdisciplinary Curriculum
- STEAM
- Effective teaching strategies
- Classroom Management: Positive discipline
- Learning Theories
- ntegrating Values, Morals and Ethics
- Child and Adolescent Development: Includes parts of child psychology and theories of how the brain develops and learns at different stages
- Strategies for ESL pupils
Workshops are also conducted all year long and each teacher has a personalized professional development plan with a cyclical process to ensure continuous improvement and development.
